Spoil your pups to a day filled with endless play at The Dog Haus! We offer a safe and enjoyable environment for dogs to play in one of our many play areas. They are specially designed to make your pups stay as pleasant as possible. Our trained staff will be there to give your pup the attention and love he or she deserves!

Your pups have the opportunity to run and play in our safety fenced yards or they also have the option to come inside and play in our indoor playroom. Our indoor playroom is climate controlled all year around.

The Dog Haus is a safe and happy environment for all dogs, we require all pups to be currently vaccinated, neutered or spayed at the age of six months, and must complete a Temperament Test before any daycare reservations can be made.

We do not accept pets that are diabetic or have other medical needs that require 24 hour surveillance.

VACCINATION REQUIREMENTS

Distemper (DHLPP), Rabies, Bordetella (Kennel Cough) and a clean fecal exam. We require the Bordetella vaccination (intranasal) and fecal exam be renewed every six months by your vet. This information has to be provided before making your reservation to secure a spot for daycare and/or boarding. Any vaccination cannot expire during their stay.

We strongly suggest and recommend, but don't at this point require, your dog to have had its Canine Influence Vaccination, there were confirmed cases in Jackson and Josephine County last year.

TEMPERAMENT TEST

In order to board and/or attend daycare your pooch, regardless of size, temperament, or history must participate in our temperament test. We want to make sure that your pup feels safe and enjoys playing with us. But more importantly we want to make sure we can safely handle your pup. Please make sure your pet is caught up with their current vaccinations: Rabies, Distemper, Bordetella, as well as have a negative fecal exam within the last six months.

Temperament tests are done Monday - Friday between the hours of 11:30 PM and 2:00 PM, this process will take about 20 to 30 minutes. One of our staff members will ask you several questions about your dog's history and once finished, they will take your pup back to our meet and greet area to be introduced to other pups of various ages which we have trained to assess your pup, gender, and also play styles to see how they react and handle themselves in this new environment. Once the staff member returns with your dog they will let you know how they did in their introduction session. If your pup passes, they will be free to use the facility as needed moving forward. You can make a reservation with our staff or online for their half day at any time.
